Berlin Records 13 Property Transfers in August, Only One Discloses Price
Berlin recorded 13 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only one deed disclosed a sale price: $399,999, for a property recorded Aug. 17 with sellers Georgeana Marcelino Frias, individually and as trustee, and buyer St Marys Credit Union. That figure marks the period's low, high and median price since no other transaction listed a price. The most notable pattern was six properties transferring to the Berlin Town Collector in a single day, Aug. 12, from River Road East, Pleasant Street, Highland Street, South Street (two properties) and Village Lane. With pricing absent from 12 of 13 filings, the deed record does not show whether the market is trending up, down or flat.
