Berlin Conservation Commission Enters Executive Session on Lawsuit, Riverrun Land Deal

BERLIN — November 19, 2025 — Berlin Conservation Commission enters executive session over land trust lawsuit and Riverrun property. The commission held a brief open session November 19 before voting 6-0 by roll call to meet privately under MGL chapter 30A section 21A to discuss litigation strategy in Michelle T., Trustee of the Berlin Realty Land Trust v. Town of Berlin Conservation Commission, and to weigh the value or potential acquisition of parcels identified as Riverrun. In open session, the board unanimously approved two outstanding invoices from Sign Logic totaling $520 — one for $145 and one for $375 — to be paid from the open space account, after the invoices were found to have been misdirected to a personal email. The commission also unanimously continued the Wheeler Pond Dam hearing to December 3, 2025. The board did not return to open session after the executive session concluded.
