Berlin CPA Panel Reelects Officers, OKs Sign Invoice

Community Preservation Act Committee · Meeting of June 16, 2026

Berlin's Community Preservation Act Committee reorganized and approved a $1,175 sign invoice at its June 16 meeting. Members voted unanimously, 6-0, to keep Tim as chair and Wayne as vice chair, and elected Beth as clerk, replacing Carolyn. The committee also authorized Chair Tim to sign off on a SignLogic invoice for $1,175 covering new CPA identification signs at Horseshoe Pond, the town courts and the community farm.

Administrator Maureen reminded members that CPA funds "really" cannot be mixed with town payroll, restating a state rule barring payment of town employees or departments, even for overtime. With the town website still down, Maureen said applications will be posted on a bulletin board near the town clerk's office through the October 30, 2026 deadline. Members set their next meeting for July 7.
